Philippa Langdale began directing for television in the early Nineties. Jackanory was an early project, before she moved on to shows like Grange Hill, EastEnders and The Bill. Langdale's credits after the turn of the century included episodes of London's Burning, Waking The Dead, Pulling Moves and Silent Witness. During the 2010s, she directed for programmes such as Skins, Critical, Dickensian and Living The Dream. In 2016, Langdale made the two-part Co-Owner Of A Lonely Heart / Brave-ish Heart for the Doctor Who spin-off Class. Her career continued into the Twenties, when she worked on A Discovery Of Witches and The Capture.
